TV art program “NIUS” visits Lleida

March 18th Art program “NIUS”, aired by XTVL in Catalonia, was about culture in Lleida. Includes an interview with Jordi V. Pou, in IEI just before Kokovoko opening, and in his studio.

 

Program features also Jordi V. Pou Kokovoko site in an special section.

 

“Nius” represents a trip search for culture following the track left by an imaginary bird. In their visit to Lleida they included El Museu de Lleida, Jordi V. Pou and La Panera art center. More info about the program at their blog, Nius.

Durch die Ausstellung schlendern zumindest am Sonntagmittag immer mehr Besucher, es wird angeregt diskutiert. Elke End und Helen de Louwere stehen schon seit einiger Zeit vor der Bilderserie des spanischen Künstlers Jordi V. Pou. Thema: Natur in der Stadt. Umsetzung: provokant, knallbunt und genial. Da liegen abgenagte Hühnerknochen und der Rest einer sonnengelben Polenta auf einer geblümten Wachstuchdecke, gestickte Pflanzenornamentik prangt auf einem Autositzkissen – in der Stadt manchmal der einzige Bezug zur Natur. „Das ist sehr außergewöhnlich, von der Technik her meine ich“, sagt Elke End. „Und dann dieses Niveau…“, ergänzt de Louwere.

Odapark Exhibition “Love the one you’re with” Images

Opening this weekend the exhibition “Love the One you’re with” nature photography with a mobile phone will be open to public at Odapark Contemporary Art center in Venray, The Netherlands.

 

Exhibition includes 9 photographs from Jordi V. Pou’s new mobile phone photography project “Perfect Nature“. These are some images from odapark and my work included in the exhibition, images by Valerie Ardini and Peter de Ronde
