Jordi V. Pou was invited to do the opening talk at the Latitudes International Photography Festival in Huelva, Spain. The conference, named “The new dimension of Photography. iPhoneography and its consequences“, was included in the official opening act held at the University of Huelva on Monday February 13th.
On friday February 3rd Jordi V. Pou was invited to do a conference on “Active Fridays” activities organized by GrisArt Photography School in Barcelona.
Jordi presented his actual project Kokovoko.info and explained his opinions about how new technologies are changing photography. Conference named “Kokovoko. The new maps of photography” was similar to the Emergent Festival one, but longer.
One of Jordi V. Pou images is included in the selection “Pictured: A World at 7 Billion” from the New York Times Lens Blog.
“A visual time capsule, capturing our world at seven billion people — and counting. There is little rhyme or reason to the order you see. We sought a mega-snapshot of our world — different regions, subjects, viewpoints.”

Mobile eyephoneography exhibition arrives to Barcelona. Last friday, november 4th, the exhibition was officially opened in FNAC Arenas exhibition area, in Barcelona.
Exhibition includes 8 photographers, among them Jordi V. Pou with 3 framed prints from Eyephoneography#2 exhibtion.
Exhibition will be open till January 7th. Opening included a debate with two of the participating photographers, Miss Pixels and Jordi V. Pou.
